Overview This three-piece vintage PenDelfin stonecraft collection brings a culinary and rest theme to English folk craft displays. The set features "Muncher" standing at five inches tall enjoying a slice of pie and a mug, "Pieface" sitting beside a freshly baked berry pie with a polka-dot napkin, and "Poppet" fast asleep inside a woven bassinet under a soft pink and blue blanket. Together, these figures offer warm, nostalgic charm for cottagecore shelf arrangements, kitchen displays, or nursery styling. Cultural & Artistic Background Handcrafted by PenDelfin Studios in Burnley, Lancashire, England, these pieces showcase mid-to-late 20th-century British stonecraft art. Created by founders Jean Walmsley Heap and Jeanie Todd, PenDelfin figurines were cast from heavy stone composite and hand-finished with vibrant, matte-sheen enamels. The undersides retain protective green felt bases along with original palette-shaped black-and-gold foil studio labels and official model designations, including registered design marks for "Poppet" (Reg. Des. No. 915.533) and "Pieface." Condition & Surface Character All three figurines maintain strong structural integrity with no cracks or structural repairs. The original hand-applied palette retains bright saturation across the pink overalls, blue polka-dot bedding, and deep red pie filling. Fine relief detailing remains crisp, from the sculpted fur texturing to the basket weave pattern on Poppet's cradle. Subtle age-consistent surface wear and soft patination enhance authentic studio character, while original green felt bases and foil labels remain well-attached.
