Overview
A vintage Oneida Community Plate silverplate bread tray in the Bird of Paradise pattern, 14 inches long. The tray has a long oval shape with clipped ends, a recessed center well and a stepped, molded rim. At each end of the rim is a cartouche with the pattern's bird and scroll design. The surface still has good shine, along with the scratches and light tarnish you would expect from age and use. It works for serving bread or rolls at the table, or as a display piece on a sideboard, buffet or dining table.
