The words are stitched in brown thread inside a round wreath of green leaves and small red French-knot berries. The background is a natural linen-look fabric. It is framed under glass in a square wood frame with a gray-brown finish, with a sawtooth hanger on the back. It suits a wall, shelf or desk, and makes a thoughtful gift for a friend.
Background
Stitched sayings and friendship mottos were popular home decor pieces through the late 20th century. This piece is unsigned and unmarked. The back is covered with brown paper and has a metal sawtooth hanger.
Condition
Good vintage condition. The stitching is intact with no loose threads seen, and the glass is intact. The frame has light wear on the edges. The paper backing has some dents, a small hole near the bottom, and small marks in the lower left corner. Some light spots in the photos are reflections on the glass. Please see all photos.
