Overview This vintage 4-piece nesting set of diamond-shaped brass trays features hand-etched botanical and floral motifs across each interior basin. Ranging in size to fit neatly within one another, these geometric dishes combine crisp Mid-Century lines with artisanal metalwork. Perfect for styling on a vanity, desk, or entryway console, they serve as elegant trinket catchalls, ring dishes, or decorative coasters for Global Eclectic, Japandi, and Wabi-Sabi spaces. Cultural & Artistic Background Reflecting mid-century metalworking traditions, this set utilizes geometric nesting forms that stack compactly for storage or display. Craftsmen etched floral leaves and stylized blossoms onto the solid brass base before forming the raised rim edges. Geometric diamond and rhombus silhouettes were popular in 1960s brass decor, merging functional utility with expressive folk art design. Condition & Surface Character All four trays remain structurally sound and nest smoothly together. The brass surfaces display authentic vintage patination, localized tarnish, tonal aging, and minor surface scratches from handling and nesting storage. Dimensions & Weight Height: 3.8 inches (Largest Tray) Width/Diameter: 2.5 inches (Largest Tray) Depth: 0.2 inches (Largest Tray) Weight Profile: Light / Solid
