The group features "Tammy" the shaggy terrier with her signature red collar and bell tag, "Barney" the rabbit holding a polka-dot comfort blanket, a companion rabbit resting in a blue vest, and the rustic "Barney's Bathtub" water vessel adorned with a painted ladybug. Ideal for cottagecore mantel vignettes, nursery shelf styling, or vintage figurine collections.
Cultural & Artistic Background
Handcrafted by PenDelfin Studios in Burnley, Lancashire, England, these pieces exemplify 20th-century British stonecraft art. Founded by Jean Walmsley Heap and Jeanie Todd in the 1950s, PenDelfin figurines were individually cast from a proprietary stone composite and hand-painted by studio artisans. The undersides feature green felt pads complete with original black-and-gold palette-shaped studio labels and registered design hallmarks, alongside impressed "MADE IN ENGLAND" lettering along the wooden-tub rim.
Condition & Surface Character
The set remains in strong vintage condition with stable structural integrity. The original hand-applied pigments retain soft tones, highlighting the sculpted fur texturing, garment detailing, and wood-grain barrel finish. Subtle age-consistent surface patina and faint paint rubs reflect authentic vintage studio character. Base felt pads and maker stickers remain well-preserved and legible.
Dimensions & Weight
Height: 3.5 inches (largest figure)
Width/Diameter: 2.5 inches
Depth: 2.0 inches
Weight Profile: Solid / Moderate

https://belleafrikarts.com/products/vintage-pendelfin-stonecraft-figurine-set-tammy-dog-barney-rabbit-tub
